I was really struck by the way the juxtaposition of the two buildings ties into the meaning behind the lettering on the older one in the foreground. It's almost cryptic in a way, as if whoever put it there foresaw this scene that would unfold many years later. It's really a testament t the timeless truth behind those words.
I felt a strange connection to something, some kind of thread through time, and a sense of not only witnessing something, but taking part in it when I took this photo as I do even now looking at it.
